Managing Projects
Projects are containers for your BIM models and cost data.
Create a Project
- Click "New Project" in the sidebar
- Enter a project name
- Optional: Select a folder for organization
- Click "Create"
Project List
The sidebar shows all your projects:
- Pinned Projects - At the top for quick access
- Folders - For organization (collapsible)
- Regular Projects - Listed below
Pin a Project
Right-click on a project → "Pin"
Pinned projects always appear at the top of the list.
Folders
Folders help organize many projects.
Create a Folder
- Right-click in the project list
- "New Folder"
- Enter a name
Create multiple folders at once:
You can create multiple folders simultaneously by separating names with commas:
- Example:
Architecture, Structure, MEP - Creates three separate folders: "Architecture", "Structure", and "MEP"
Batch Creation
This feature is especially useful when setting up new projects with a standardized folder structure.
Rename/Delete Folder
Right-click on the folder → select the appropriate option
Caution
When deleting a folder, the contained projects are not deleted but moved to the main level.
Drag & Drop Organization
Move Project to Folder
Move projects via drag & drop into folders:
- Click and hold a project
- Drag it onto a folder
- The folder will be highlighted
- Release to move the project
Models Preserved
All models and data of the project are fully preserved when moving to a folder.
Reorder Projects (Admin)
Projects can be reordered via drag & drop:
- Click and hold a project
- Drag it over another project
- A blue line shows the insertion position (above or below)
- Release to save the new order
The order is permanently saved and synchronized across all devices.
Reorder Folders
Folders can be sorted via drag & drop:
- Drag a folder to a new position
- The folder order is automatically saved
Edit Project
Rename
- Right-click on the project
- "Rename"
- Enter a new name
Delete
- Right-click on the project
- "Delete"
- Confirm the deletion
Warning
Deleting a project also removes all associated models, cost positions, and links. This action cannot be undone.
Project Statistics
View detailed information about your project:
- Click Statistics in the header
- The statistics panel opens
Displayed information:
- Models - Number of uploaded models
- Total Elements - Total count of all BIM elements
- Element Types - Distribution by IFC type (IfcWall, IfcSlab, etc.)
- Cost Positions - Number of BOQ positions
- Links - Number of data links
Data Export
Statistics are useful for project reports and monitoring project progress.
Project Search
Use the search bar at the top of the sidebar:
- Search by project name
- Results are filtered live
