Measurement Tool

Measure distances directly in the 3D model.

Start Measurement

1. Click Measurement Tool in the toolbar
2. Or press M
3. The cursor changes to the measurement tool

Perform Measurement

1. Click on the start point
2. Click on the end point
3. The measurement is displayed

Measurement Result

The display shows:

• Total Distance - Direct distance between points
• X Distance - Horizontal component
• Y Distance - Depth component
• Z Distance - Vertical component (height)

Snapping

The measurement tool automatically snaps to:

• Corners - Object corners
• Edges - Edge midpoints
• Surfaces - Surface center points

Precise Measurements

Zoom in closer for more accurate snapping on small details.

End Measurement

• Press Esc to deactivate the measurement tool
• Or click Measurement Tool again

Multiple Measurements

You can perform multiple measurements in sequence:

1. First measurement: Point A → Point B
2. Second measurement: Point C → Point D
3. And so on

All measurements remain visible until you deactivate the tool.

Tips

Measuring Room Heights

Click on the floor, then on the ceiling to determine the room height.

Wall Thickness

Measure from outer edge to inner edge of a wall for the exact thickness.
