Lighting

Adjust the 3D viewer lighting to your needs.

Open Lighting Panel

Click Lighting in the top bar.

Light Settings

Ambient Light:

  • Controls the overall base brightness of the scene
  • Range: 20% - 100%
  • Default: 70%
  • Higher values → brighter, softer appearance
  • Lower values → darker, higher contrast appearance

Direct Light:

  • Controls the directional light (e.g., sunlight)
  • Range: 20% - 100%
  • Default: 60%
  • Higher values → stronger shadows and contrasts
  • Lower values → flatter, softer lighting

Edge Lines

Enable/disable the display of element edges:

  • On (Default) - Shows black lines at object edges for better readability
  • Off - Softer, photorealistic appearance without edges

Use Cases

  • Technical drawings → Edge lines on, higher ambient light (80-90%)
  • Presentations → Edge lines off, balanced light (60-70%)
  • Dark areas → Increase ambient light (80-100%)

Reset to Default

Click Reset to Default to reset all settings to default values:

  • Ambient light: 70%
  • Direct light: 60%
  • Edge lines: On

Save Settings

All lighting settings are automatically saved in the browser and persist on your next visit.
