New Position

There are two ways to create a new position:

Method 1: Via Toolbar

  1. Click on "Add Position"
  2. Select the parent group
  3. Fill in the fields:
    • Code - Position number (e.g. "310.001")
    • Short text - Description
    • Quantity - Amount
    • Unit - UoM (m2, pcs, etc.)
    • UP - Unit price
  4. The TP (total price) is calculated automatically

Method 2: From Properties Panel

Create positions directly from BIM element properties:

  1. Select a BIM element in the 3D viewer
  2. The Properties Panel opens on the right
  3. Navigate to a Property Set (e.g. "Pset_WallCommon")
  4. Click on a Property Key (e.g. "FireRating", "LoadBearing")
  5. Click on "New Position..."
  6. In the modal:
    • The short text is automatically filled from the property value
    • Pset Lookup: Click on the icon to browse and insert other property values from the element
    • Select the quantity directly from the BIM data:
      • Length (m)
      • Area (m2)
      • Volume (m3)
      • Count
    • The unit is set automatically
    • Enter code and UP
    • Price Suggestion: Click on the database icon to suggest prices from the price archive
  7. "Create" - The position is linked with the element

Smart Linking

With this method, the element is automatically linked with the position and the quantity is taken from the BIM data.
