What is BIM AVA?

BIM AVA is a web-based platform for Building Information Modeling (BIM) with focus on:

• 3D Visualization of building models (IFC format)
• Cost Calculation according to German standards (GAEB/AVA)
• Collision Detection between components
• Model Comparison for version differences

For Guests

As a guest, you can access a project via a share link. The link was provided to you by a BIM AVA user.

What You Can Do as Guest

• View the 3D model in the 3D viewer
• Show/hide models (checkbox in sidebar)
• Display component properties (by clicking)
• Browse the model structure in the Explorer panel
• Download IFC files (via the three-dot menu on the model)
• Adjust lighting and edge lines
• Switch between light and dark theme
• Change the language (German/English)

What You CANNOT Do as Guest

• Create or edit projects
• Modify cost positions
• Add annotations
• Access other projects
